The Harvard Innovation Lab launched in late 2011 as a resource for entrepreneurial and innovative students. Known as the i-lab, the 30,000 GSF center assists ventures across a range of disciplines and connects Harvard students with faculty, entrepreneurs, and the Allston and Greater Boston communities. The i-lab hosts events and work sessions with greater community members and business enterprises, supporting ventures including social and cultural entrepreneurship, health and sciences, technology, and consumer fields. The i-lab combines education with resources, offering courses, workshops, experiential learning experiences, and incubation programs. With 30,000 sf of space and over 250 workstations, the i-lab is primed to foster future growth.
