The Cambridge Innovation Center

Housing more startups than "anywhere else on the planet," the Cambridge Innovation Center has been helping entrepreneurs and companies succeed since 1999. Expanding from an original 2,700 SF to 18,000 SF in 2001, the CIC doubled in size twice by 2004 and now reaches 71,000 SF over four floors.

Over 1400 companies have taken up residence at the CIC, securing $1.8B of venture capital. Currently the CIC houses over 600 companies and includes such amenities like a stocked kitchen, technical support, high end furniture, and concierge. The CIC announced its first expansion outside of Massachusetts in May of 2013.
